Mukul, Auberge Resorts Collection

Hotel Closure

Due to the crisis in Nicaragua, the country has experienced a significant decline in international tourism. This has negatively and dramatically affected the hospitality industry throughout the country, and Mukul is no exception. For this reason, the resort has closed indefinitely as of Monday, June 25, 2018.

Mukul continued to operate without issue throughout the demonstrations that occurred elsewhere in Nicaragua; however, it has become necessary to suspend operations due to the country’s loss in tourism and due to the lack of visits to the resort. We cherish each and every team member, and we are doing everything we can to look after our resort family during this difficult time.

Guests with reservations will be personally contacted, refunded within the next 30 days for any deposits placed for their stay, and assisted in rebooking their trip at another Auberge Resorts Collection property.
